MAFRAPRINT printing plants are specialized in printing newspapers. The plants Prague and Olomouc were built according to a unified project, they are equipped with the same production technology and use the same technological procedures and materials. All of it makes us possible to produce in a comparable quality on all machine lines.
We are part of MAFRA corporation, publisher of MF DNES and LIDOVÉ NOVINY newspapers. The main shareholder is the German holding Rheinisch-Bergische Druckerei und Verlagsgesellschaft mbH, publisher of Rheinische Post Düsseldorf newspaper. We cooperate in the production of daily newspaper Metro within the framework of MAFRA Media Group. Another part of our capacity belongs to external clients.
We have seven production lines. Their base are König & Bauer Colora offset rotary presses and FERAG mailing lines. The conception of 2 plants in Olomouc and Prague provides optimal conditions for the stability of the production technology, mainly production safety, and the high printing quality. Geographically both plants are placed so that they can supply all the districts of the Czech Republic with their newspaper products every day.
The professional skills of the colleagues in pre-press, press, post-press and service are our most important values. The modern high technology brings effect thanks to the common work of all 250 members of staff.
